Listing of Families
This category is for listings of families hoping to adopt. Please submit the site''s main URL, a brief description of the site.
If the site is associated with an adoption agency list the affiliation and link directly to the web page including the family listings. Agencies that only operate within one state or individual sites should be placed in the regional category.
Regional
This category includes individual sites of families hoping to adopt, or agency listings of families hoping to adopt. US Agencies should choose the state where the agency is located. Families should choose the state where they currently reside.
In the description include anything unique and relevant about your family that will help expectant mothers narrow down their search. For example: family structure, type of child desired (age, race, special needs, gender), type of adoption (open/semi-open/closed), existing children, experience with adoption (birthmother, adoptee, adoptive parents)
Avoid using the term "Birth Mother" when you mean expectant parents considering making an adoption plan. A woman is not a birthmother until she relinquishes her parental rights.
When you are no longer seeking to adopt please either remove your web page or put a message on your webpage stating you are no longer seeking to adopt.
