This area of the directory is host to recipes which are shared by communities.
Please review the categories here and submit the listing to the most specific one you can find. E.G.: Chinese recipes should be submitted to Home/Cooking/World_Cuisines/Asian/Chinese
not to Home/Cooking/World_Cuisines/Asian/.

Sites submitted to incorrect categories will take longer to get listed in the directory.

Please submit only sites that deal exclusively with African cooking. Sites on the cooking of several African countries should be submitted to Home: Cooking: World Cuisines: Africa.
If you run a site mostly geared to shopping, please submit to one of the shopping categories instead. If your site is too commercial in nature, it will not be listed here. Some commercial sites that offer unique or extensive information may be listed here at the editors discretion.
This category is for sites devoted to the unique cuisines of the Caribbean Islands. The Caribbean comprises numerous islands including, but not limited to, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, The Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica and The Dominican Republic, St. Martin, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Virgin Islands. The Caribbean cuisines are a mixture of ingredients native to the islands combined with the influence of European and other nations who traded with and sometimes ruled these islands throughout history.
This category is for cooking and recipe sites. Sites selling Caribbean food or ingredients should be submitted to Shopping/Food/Ethnic_and_Regional/Caribbean.

If your shopping site features recipes, the RECIPE pages may be submitted here for review.

Please only submit links that go directly to recipes. This is especially important for commercial sites that provide recipes to support the products they sell. There are other categories in the directory that are probably better suited for the commercial side of these sites. For example, Shopping: Food: Ethnic and Regional: European: French.

Each submission will be reviewed to ensure that it contains a preponderance of recipes that are truly French. For example, pain perdu is French, French toast is not.

This section of the DMOZ Open Directory Project is specifically about Jewish Recipe Sites. Depending on the number of sites submitted or found by the section editors it may be broken down into Kosher and Non-Kosher recipes. Where applicable the specific ethnicity of recipes will be listed in the description of the sites. For instance, Sephardic is a very broad term if you're familiar with it. It can be anything from North African to Turkish. The cuisines of those two regions are very different, and the same is true even of North African. We're always open to suggestions. If you have any that you think would improve this section please use the feedback form.
Sites accepted in this category are sites which offer recipes or information about typical Australian or Aboriginal food.
