Wyoming is a state of many natural resources, from mineral and oil deposits, to varying landscapes and, of course, the people. Wyoming is the home of many firsts, including the first National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the first woman governor and the first National Monument, Devil's Tower.
With a population of about 500,000 spread out across 97,914 square miles, it is easy to see why people feel that small town friendliness, even in the 'big' cities of Cheyenne and Casper.
Wyoming's nickname is the Equality State, and its motto is Equal Rights. People are not afraid to stand tall and proud and still live with the western spirit from the pioneer days of the 1800's.
