Larian Studios, a Belgian game developer, created a game called Divine Divinity. Being good and well received, with a rich and well developed game world, this Action-RPG created a loyal following and therefore the Divinity brand. In 2002, Divine Divinity was released for Windows PCs. It was followed up by Beyond Divinity, released for Windows in 2004.
